Job Advertisement: ** To check-out the current status of the project, go to http://groups.psych.indiana.edu -- I'll be starting on campus this summer; for now, please contact me at michaelroberts@depauw.edu and I'll come to campus for interviews** I'm looking for an intern with advanced web authoring skills who would like to work on a sophisticated project that incorporates several technologies to run collective behavior (related to psychology and economics) experiments on the web. The experiments allow groups of people to simultaneously participate in competitive and cooperative tasks, and I analyze the data to understand how people adapt their strategies. Regardless of your prior experience, the project will further develop your skills as you learn the existing web infrastructure and networked experiments, and then design web pages and author scripts that work with the Java experiments to initialize different versions of the experiments. In addition, at the beginning of the internship, you will be invited to join me in a meeting with several collaborators at IU to discuss the scope of this particular project, as well as the larger aims of the group experiment platform and the directions of our research. You will also be encouraged to participate in video conferences or IU meetings later in the year to discuss your work and share ideas about the group experiment platform.
