The main purpose of this project is to increase our effectiveness and efficiency in our film editing. The women's basketball staff currently spends a minimim of 12-15 hours per week on video editing. This editing plays a key role in our preparations for each opponent, as well as instructional uses for our own team. The student intern would be able to make us much more efficient, almost immediately, with our use of Movie Maker. We will start using the video editing in October and continue through mid-March.

Other, please describe here Skills needed at time of hire - limited knowledge needed. We will be working with Movie Maker and some knowledge of video recording and editing. Skills acquired - tailoring the video editing to a specific sport, including an increased knowledge of the game of basketball.
