DePauw University - 2007 K-12 Bridge Program

DePauw University is offering three opportunities to Putnam County K-12 educators during the summer of 2007 through the 2007 K-12 Bridge Program.

The following offers K-12 participants the opportunity to interact with DePauw professors, instructional technologists, and colleagues from other area schools:

  • 2007 Faculty Instructional Technology Support (FITS) Summer Workshop – May 29th through June 1st and June 4th

    The 2007 FITS Summer Workshop is a week-long intensive workshop offering a series of plenary sessions, discussion groups, and mini-courses focused on developing skills that can be used in the classroom. Individuals and/or teams of two (e.g. teacher/media specialist, teacher/librarian, etc.) are encouraged to submit an application to be considered for participation in this workshop.

  • 2nd K-12 Bridge Symposium on Technology in Teaching & Information Literacy  - May 31st

    The 2nd K-12 Bridge Symposium is a day-long symposium consisting of a keynote speaker, a “show and tell” session, hands-on demonstrations, presentations, and roundtable discussions. Each school corporation is invited to nominate teachers, media specialists, computer technology media assistants, and technology coordinators from grades K through 12 to participate in the symposium.
