How To Get An ISIC Card

DePauw University does not distribute International Identity Cards. ISIC cards provide discounts at many business, museums, plays, airlines etc. There are also insurance benefits. Please read the web site information carefully to see if ISIC is right for you.

You may purchase a card online, by phone, or by mail. It may take a few weeks for you to receive your card so be sure to plan ahead.




	The International Student ID card (ISIC) is a discount and identity document for students. To qualify for your International Student ID card, you must be age 12 or older and currently enrolled as a full-time degree seeking student at an accredited institution. Continuing education, llanguage school, and non-degree seeking students are not eligible.


Eligibility Full-time students age 12 & over currently enrolled for the academic year 2005-2006 at an accredited institution and matriculating towards a diploma or a degree. (Continuing education and language school students are not eligible).		Proof Requirements Photocopy of school ID showing validity for 2005-2006. OR Photocopy of your transcript/report card/tuition bill receipt for 2005-2006 academic year.		Card Validity Period One year from date of issue.




	The International Teacher Identity Card (ITIC) offers special, discounts, privileges and benefits to full-time teachers and professors. To apply for the ITIC, you need proof that you are a full-time teacher, professor or instructor at an accredited educational establishment. You must be employed for a minimum of 18 hours per week for a minimum of one academic year.


Eligibility Full-time teachers or faculty teaching for the academic year 2005-2006 at an accredited institution. Minimum 18 hours per week and must have minimum of one year employment to qualify.	Proof Requirements Photocopy of your faculty ID showing validity for 2005-2006 academic year. OR Letter on school stationery from department chair or school principal verifying current full-time faculty status	Card Validity Period One year from date of issue.
