The START program uses a combination of staff and student employees to efficiently manage the program. The roles of the staff coordinator and the three student managers work together to provide the students of DePauw an invaluable resource for their technology quandaries.

START Coordinator
The START coordinator oversees the entire START program. The coordinator
works directly with the three START ITAP Student Directors to efficiently
run the program.

START ITAP Students
Student Director
The START Student Director works closely with the START Coordinator to help manage and mentor students working for the program. This student supervises the START ITAP Apprentice rotations and helps to organize training opportunities for START Consultants. These roles revolve around educating
fellow students. This director is responsible for training, consulting,
and project work.
Training and Instructional Development Specialists
The Training Specialists work closely with staff members to provide technical training and instructional materials to
DePauw faculty, staff and students. Training Specialist design and develop course specific training sessions at the request of faculty clients and host a START workshop series for students each semester.
START Consultants
START Consultants
A START Consultant works with students of DePauw University to assist
them with their technology needs and problems. This is done primarily
at one of three START service points around campus, including Julian, Roy O West, and Tiger Service in the UB. In addition to solving
general computing questions, START Consultants will also have the
opportunity to provide technology workshops for the DePauw community.
