What to expect when you arrive

When you arrive at the The Infant Discovery and Emotion Lab, a staff member will meet you outside and accompany
you to the building in which the study will take
place. Parking is convenient for parents and their infants. During this period, staff members will
get to know you and your infant so your infant
feels comfortable. Upon entering the center, we
will discuss the exact details of the study so
parents will know the procedure that is to be followed. After the study has been explained and your infant has had time to warm-up to the new setting, we will begin the given study. In most
cases, we will simply observe your infant
interacting with toys or observe them interacting
with others. After the study, we will mail you the results of the study.
