Message from the Director

Welcome to the DePauw University Libraries!

Our primary goal is to serve and support the academic mission of the University.  We offer an array of resources and services to assist you.  Whether its in Roy O West, Music, Prevo Science, the Visual Resource Center or Archives, we want to help meet your information needs.

This is a transitional time for libraries.  The modes of scholarly communication are changing.  While these changes offer exciting opportunities and unprecedented access to a broad range of materials, they can seemingly complicate the process.  We work hard to simplify this process as much as we can and are always ready to help you.

The Libraries should also be a place of comfort.  Browse a newspaper, get a cup of coffee, study for a test, check your mail, or chat with a friend.  Make yourself at home.  Learning happens in a variety of ways.

I encourage you to Ask a Librarian, browse our web site, contact your library liaison, or share your comments and concerns with me.
