Description of Collection

The collection is made up of two scrapbooks containing memorabilia from the college years of Grace Browning, class of 1920.

Contents of Collection

Scrapbook #1: This scrapbook contains pieces dating from 1916 to 1919. There are handbills from various recitals and theater productions as well as schedules from sporting events, newspaper clippings of DePauw happenings, and announcements of other campus events. Also included are commencement programs from Greencastle High School's 1915 graduation.

Scrapbook #2: This scrapbook, bound by a crumbling suede cover, details the senior year of Grace Browning. Included are such items as handbills, sporting events schedules, photos of a May Day celebration and a Botany class outing, autographs and notes from friends, announcements from other campus events, and commencement programs for DePauw's 1920 graduation.
