Archives and Manuscripts
Elijah Evans Edwards (IAU 1853) Papers
Edwards was a teacher, minister, artist, Civil War veteran, and college president (Colo. State). Collection includes originals and copies of diaries and sketches including those of his days as a student and as a chaplain in the Civil War. Other Civil War diaries are present in the Archives.

Francis Asbury Hester Papers
Hester and other members of his family were ministers. His diaries detailing his activities on the circuit are included. Other ministers' diaries are present in the collections of the Archives.

William C. Larrabee Papers
Larrabee was one of Indiana Asbury University's most popular faculty members. He was a native of Maine, bringing many plants native to the part of the country with him to IAU and owned the property south of Hanna St. between Locust St. and College Ave. His wife started a school for girls out of their home. The Archives has other collections of faculty papers for the period.

Fairfield Circuit, Blooming Grove, Ind. record book, 1848-1865
Official records of the local church including members and proceedings of board meetings. It is typical of the 4000+ local church record books present in the Archives.
