Historical Background


The History of the Methodist Church in Advance is threefold: the log church, Old Ebenezer; the frame church, New Ebenezer; and the present church, dedicated as Ebenezer MEC of Advance. Mount Zion merged with the Advance church June 1, 1967 and it later became Advance United Methodist Church.
