During l877, many Methodist revival and temperance services were held in Dana. Finally, on December 3l, l877, Rev. Daniel S. Morrison, pastor of the Summit Grove circuit, came to Dana to organize a Methodist Class, and eventually start a Methodist Church. The Bono Church was erected in l850 by the Presbyterian denomination. Prior to l850, services were held in a large barn. In l887, the Presbyterians turned the Church over to the Methodists. At present, Dana and Bono United Methodist Churches are under the same charge.

This collection consists of church bulletins from l98l to l987 and their newsletter, "Heavenly Hash" .
