• Abstract:
• By utilizing deep-links into MetaLib, DePauw University libraries successfully transitioned their patrons smoothly into the MetaLib platform.  We adpated existing terminology and took patrons directly into the new interface, 'deep-linking' them where we wanted them to go. From there, patrons could choose to go direct to the native interface of the database, or begin searching - which was added functionality. Statistics showed that patrons were performing federated searches - even more than going to the native interface.
