Touring Ensemble
The DePauw Percussion Ensemble embarked on its inaugural tour — to the central European countries of Slovenia, Croatia, Austria, the Czech Republic and Germany —  during the January 2007 Winter Term. In each location, there were performances and workshops, as well as time for sight-seeing these places of such historical, cultural, and musical importance.


The ensemble played a program of works by American composers:

January 8 Ljubljana, Slovenia - live national radio broadcast concert
January 9 Klagenfurt, Austria - concert at the Landeskonservatorium

Bjelovar, Croatia  - workshops and concert at the International Percussion Ensemble Festival
January 14 Zagreb, Croatia - concert
January 16 Vienna, Austria - concert
January 22 Prague, Czech Republic  - concert in the Martinu Hall of the  Music Academy 
January 23 Nuremberg,  Germany - concert at the Musikhochschule
January 25 Stuttgart,  Germany - concert at the Musikhochschule
