AREAS OF STUDY - VOICE


DePauw University's vocal area is the largest major within the School of Music. Currently there are 50 - 70 majors enrolled in one of the following:

Six voice professors and one choral conductor teach and direct all applied voice lessons, voice classes, workshops and ensembles.

Voice & Choral Faculty include:

All voice faculty are active members of National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), recitalists, clinicians, and judges for state and regional competitions. Voice majors routinely compete and succeed in annual Regional and State NATS competitions, as well as other regional and national contests and auditions.

Voice Opportunities
Vocal Arts DePauw (for high-school vocalists)
A week-long summer workshop including private lessons, theory fundamentals, musical theatre staging, and music technology experience.
