Music majors may enroll in one of the following degree programs:

• Bachelor of Music (B.M.) - Woodwind Performance
• Bachelor of Music Education (B.M.E) - Instrumental General
• Bachelor of Musical Arts (B.M.A.)- General Music, Music Business or Second Major
• Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Music (B.A.)
• Five Year Bachelor of Music (B.M.)/Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Double Degree Program

Woodwind professors teach and direct all applied lessons, woodwind classes, and woodwind ensembles. Woodwind faculty maintain active membership within the International Clarinet Society, National Flute Association, North American Saxophone Alliance, International Double Reed Society, International Association for Jazz Education, Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra, and the Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra. Additionally they are recitalists, studio artists, clinicians, and judges for state, regional, and national competitions.
