Piano and Organ

PianistDePauw University’s Keyboard Area is a distinguished program within the School of Music. An inherent mission of the DePauw Keyboard Faculty is to help all students obtain necessary tools for a complete education in music and to encourage disciplined study of music and research materials. The Keyboard Faculty is especially recognized for aid in student development, encouragement of high standards of performance, and promoting an atmosphere conducive to productive learning. DePauw Keyboard students are leaders within the university and among the most vibrant and active within the School of Music ensemble programs.

Keyboard professors teach and direct all applied lessons, piano classes, and piano ensembles. The faculty maintains active membership within the American Guild of Organists, Indiana Music Teachers Association, Music Teachers National Association, and Young Audiences of Indiana. Additionally they are acclaimed recitalists, studio artists, clinicians, and judges for state, regional, and national competitions.
