Media Conversion and Duplication

What is Media Conversion & Duplication?

mitc can take relatively any form of audio material and convert it into a more usable format.  The format can be a conversion from analog to analog, such as converting an LP to a tape, or we can create digital files from analog sound for use in websites, electronic music projects, compact discs, etc.

We also have the equipment to duplicate large quantities of CDs or DVDs when needed.

Media Conversion & Duplication Policies

Concerning conversions for personal use, we can only create media conversions and duplications for a client from media he or she already owns.

Concerning conversions for personal use for educational purposes, we can convert media from the library into a user-friendly format for class use, streaming audio, and course websites.

Please allow one week of turnaround time for small projects (1-3 items).  A larger project's timeline can be determined by a mitc staff member who will consult with you on your project.

Requesting

To request media conversion or duplication, please contact mitc coordinator Veronica Pejril at veronicapejril@depauw.edu.
