Music Instructional Technology Center

Welcome to the website of the music instructional technology center, often referred to as mitc. mitc is Depauw University's resource for digital audio and the fusion of music and technology.  mitc staff work with students and faculty to find audio solutions for classroom presentation, web-based course materials, research, recreation, streaming media, and forever on.

mitc offers services such as :

• One-on-one consulting to explore ideas about using digital audio resources inside or outside of class
• Equipment & software in recording central and the mitc lab for faculty and students to learn and experiment with digital audio software and hardware
• On-demand audio recording and media conversion services
• Team-based support for instructional technology projects
• A cadre of ITAP Associates who work on curricular projects with faculty
• Coordination with other campus resources (START and Information Services) to arrange workshops and project assignments for students using specific technologies in a class (e.g., web authoring, presentations, statistical programs, spreadsheets, online discussion tools, etc.) as well as various projects by faculty
