What is Streaming Media?

Streaming media allows for audio files to be shared over the internet without being downloaded by the user.

At DePauw, streaming audio is used on campus for course support. Faculty from the School of Music, Modern Languages, History, Physics, and Art have taken advantage of our streaming audio capabilities. mitc creates playlists of required files and places them into Blackboard, allowing students to access audio content for courses they are currently enrolled in.
