Deborah Grammel

Deborah Grammel, under the direction of George Verdak, performed in the follwoing classical ballets: Les Sylphides, Swan Lake, Raymonda, the Nutcracker and Sleeping Beauty. In conjunction with her studies at Butler, she also trained in Michigan City, New York City, Houston, Chicago, and Miami. She has created and designed costumes for Butler University, Indianapolis Ballet Theatre and Dance Kaleidoscope. While at DePauw, Grammel has developed DePauw Dance, a dance troupe made up of DePauw students. She is choreographer for the DePauw Opera Theatre and the DePauw Little Theatre productions.

Grammel holds at Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees in performing arts from Butler University. Appointed 1979.
