Keith Tonne graduated with a Master’s Degree in Vocal Peformance from Indiana University. His performing career included 8 years as the Leading Lyric Tenor at the Darmstadt State Opera, with guest appearances in Opera Houses in Germany, Switzerland, Belgium and Austria, where he performed over 30 roles. Equally at home in Concerts and Recitals, he has appeared as soloist with many orchestras in the US and in Europe, including at Lincoln Center as tenor soloist in the Mozart Requem. In 1993 he sang the World Premiere of Nightmusics by John Armstrong. Mr. Tonne has taught at Jacksonville State University, Indiana University at Fort Wayne, and at Michigan State University.Appointed 2005.
