#6 Tigers Win 13th Straight; Improve to 14-1

Granville, Ohio - For the third time in the last four games sixth-ranked DePauw held the opposition to fewer than 40 points and the Tigers defeated Denison, 64-37, in a North Coast Athletic Conference Athletic Conference game.
DePauw improved to 14-1 overall and 7-0 in the NCAC with its 13th straight win, while the Big Red dropped to 11-5 overall and 4-3 in the conference.
Over the final eight minutes of the first half, the Tigers outscored Denison, 18-4, to take a 33-14 halftime lead. DePauw opened the second half with a 6-2 stretch to push the lead to 23. Denison got no closer than 19 and the Tigers led by as many as 29.
Katie Aldrich led DePauw with 17 points, while Ellie Pearson added 11 points and eight rebounds. Ali Ross dished out three assists with Aldrich and Pearson each totaling three steals.
Jane Windler led Denison with 15 points and shared the team rebounding lead with Lydia Harlan as each had three. Paige Robnett led the Big Red with three assists.
DePauw shot 53.5 percent from the field to Denison's 29.2 percent and the Tigers hit 5-of-11 from three-point range. The Tigers also held a 33-23 rebounding edge.
The Tigers return to action on Saturday, January 21, when they host Oberlin at 1 p.m.
