Ali Ross Named NCAC Player of the Week

DSC 0759Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw sophomore guard Ali Ross has been named the North Coast Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for her performances in the Tigers' three wins last week.

For the week, Ross averaged 13.7 points, 3.0 assists, 2.7 steals and 1.3 rebounds while connection on 7-of-16 three-pointers. She scored 18, dished out four assists and recorded three steals in 22 minutes of DePauw's NCAC title-clinching win over Hiram on Saturday.

DePauw, ranked fifth in the latest USA Today/ESPN Division III Coaches' Poll and sixth by D3hoops.com, clinched the outright NCAC title and the first seed in the conference tournament with last week's victories over Kenyon, Allegheny and Hiram.

The Tigers are 20-1 on the season and 13-0 in NCAC play and return to action on Saturday, February 11, at Oberlin.
