DePauw Improves to 3-1 with Win over Rhodes.

St. Louis, Mo. - Rhodes took a 1-0 lead in the opening 15 minutes, but DePauw scored twice in each half to take a 4-1 win over Rhodes in a match played at Mary Institute and Saint Louis Country Day School.

The Tigers improved to 3-1 with the win, while Rhodes dropped to 1-2.

Katie Faucher's score at 13:25 with an assist from Kat Simpson gave the Lynx a 1-0 lead before Chelsea Cutler evened the score with an assist from Margaret Ellis at 24:18. Ellis then scored on Cutler's assist with 2:20 left in the half.

Bridgette Shamleffer scored, unassisted, with 14:28 left in the match and Ellis scored on Paige Henry's assist just 56 seconds later.

DePauw held an 18-1 advantage in shots and a 13-0 margin in corners.

The Tigers return to North Coast Athletic Conference action on Saturday, September 15, when they travel to Oberlin for an 11 a.m. contest.
