Tigers Make it Four Straight with Shutout Win over Wooster

Wooster, Ohio - Margaret Ellis scored on an assist from Chelsea Cutler with just over 16 minutes remaining to lift DePauw to a 1-0 North Coast Athletic Conference victory at Wooster. The Tigers improved to 5-1 overall and 3-0 in NCAC play with their fourth straight win, while the Fighting Scots dropped to 3-4 overall and 2-2 in conference play.

DePauw held an 11-4 shots advantage and an 8-3 edge in shots on goal. The Tigers also led in penalty corners, 11-5.

Maggie Steele totaled three saves in recording the shutout for DePauw, while Carrie Mount had seven stops for Wooster.

DePauw returns to play on Thursday, September 20, when it hosts Earlham at 5 p.m.
