Eighth-ranked DePauw Blanked by Seventh-ranked Middlebury

Azusa, Calif. - In a battle of top 10 teams, seventh-ranked Middlebury improved to 4-2 with a 9-0 win over eighth-ranked DePauw. The Tigers dropped to 8-5 with the loss. All five DePauw losses have come to teams ranked 13th or higher in Division III.
Middlebury swept the doubles competition and won five of six singles matches in straight sets. DePauw's Claire Marshall won the opening set against Leah Kepping, but dropped the final two.
DePauw returns to action on Wednesday, March 27 at 13th-ranked Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.
