DePauw Men Finish Eighth at NCAC Track and Field Championships;  Droddy Wins 5K

Gambier, Ohio - DePauw's men totaled 49 points and finished eighth at the North Coast Athletic Conference Track and Field Championships. Wabash won with 275.5 points, while Ohio Wesleyan was second with 148.5.

Noah Droddy was DePauw's only individual winner as he finished ahead of the field in the 5,000-meter run in 15:00.28.

Marcus Dozier scored in a pair of events as he finished second in the discus (44.94m) and sixth in the shot put (13.44m). 

Two Tigers scored in the pole vault with Kyle Mackey finishing second (4.60m) and David Garrett third (4.45m).

Myron Burr finished third in the 110-meter hurdles in 15.26 seconds after running 15.22 in the prelims. Also scoring were Brian Mincks in fifth in the 800 meters in 1:57.95 and Amen Galley in sixth in the long jump (6.40m).

The Tigers' 4x100 relay of Galley, Mackey, Quinton Miller and Burr was eighth in 44.2 seconds.

The top three finishers in each event earn all-NCAC honors.

DePauw individuals will compete in the Cardinal Twilight on March 10 at the University of Louisville.
