DePauw Set to Open NCAC Play with #17 Wittenberg

Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw returns to the gridiron tomorrow afternoon when it plays host to 17th-ranked Wittenberg University in the North Coast Athletic Conference opener. Kickoff from Blackstock Stadium is set for 1 p.m.

The Tigers opened the season on September 7 with a 10-7 loss at Sewanee, while Wittenberg dropped its opener at Butler, 49-24.

The teams are meeting for the eighth time in a series that dates back to 1893 with Wittenberg holding a 5-2 edge. The Ohio-based Tigers won last year's meeting by a 52-14 count in Springfield, Ohio. DePauw won the last time the teams met in Greencastle by a 14-10 score in 1989.
