Sara Dungan '01 Appointed Magistrate of Indiana County's Courts

Sara (Chamness) Dungan, a 2001 graduate of DePauw University, has been appointed magistrate of Indiana's Morgan County Circuit and Superior Courts.
"Dungan has been a deputy prosecutor working primarily in circuit court for six years," notes the Martinsville Reporter-Times. "She was a clerk for Houston's First Court of Appeals and has had various internships in civil law and has done pro bono work. Dungan has coached junior high volleyball and softball in Eminence and has worked with the Mafia travel fastpitch organization in Mooresville."
A sociology major at DePauw, Dungan earned her law degree from the University of Miami. She is the current president of the Morgan County Bar Association.
