Mark Johnson '88 Joins Capital Results as Partner

Mark Johnson, a 1988 graduate of DePauw University, has joined Capital Results, a leading provider of government relations, public affairs and business consulting services, and will lead the firm's public relations division in Raleigh, North Carolina.

"Johnson, who joins the firm as a partner, served as a communications adviser in the governor’s office and as director of external affairs for the N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences, leading marketing and communications for one of the state’s most visited cultural attractions," notes today's announcement. "He also is a former vice president with Capstrat. He spent more than two decades in journalism, including as an embedded reporter with the 82nd Airborne Division during the invasion of Iraq, as well as reporting from an earthquake in Haiti, the halls of Congress, presidential campaigns and, for a decade, the corridors of power in Raleigh. His reporting won honors from the Associated Press, Knight Ridder and the Secretary of the Army.
