February 17, 2012

"Cherry Lane Theatre's award-winning Mentor Project will begin its 13th season with Elizabeth Rose's one-woman musical, Relative Pitch, beginning Feb. 21 at Manhattan's Cherry Lane Studio Theatre," reports Playbill.  The article continues, "Directed by Gretchen Cryer -- who will also serve as Rose's mentor -- the limited engagement will continue through March 3."

Gretchen (Kiger) Cryer is a 1957 graduate of DePauw University, where she majored in English (literature). A new musical by Ford and Cryer, Einstein and the Roosevelts, received its world premiere at DePauw in October 2008. Details can be found in this previous story.
