Tenor Joseph Shadday '09 to be Featured at Saturday Concert

Joseph Shadday, a tenor and 2009 graduate of the DePauw University School of Music, will be featured in Saturday's performance of the Berlioz Requiem at Hilbert Circle Theatre in downtown Indianapolis. The program, which will include more than 300 performers, will include the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir and the Butler University Chorale & University Choir with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. The concert begins at 8 p.m.

Shadday received his B.M. at DePauw and his Master of Music at the University of Maryland Opera Studio. His operatic roles have included Don Ramiro is La Cenerentola, Tamino in Die Zauberflöte, Eisenstein in Die Fledermaus, Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi, Arcadio
in Florencia en el Amazonas and Almamiva in Il Barbiere di Siviglia. He was a 2012 artist-in-residence with Florida's Pensacola Opera.
Shadday performed over the weekend on Indianapolis NBC affiliate WTHR-TV.
