May 17, 2012
"I’m excited about the opportunity for working with great teachers at Triton," says Donna Burroughs. The 1976 DePauw University graduate has been appointed superintendent of Indiana's Triton School Corporation.
"I believe we can make great things happen for the children at Triton," she tells the Pilot News of Marshall County. "Triton Schools are the best kept secret in Marshall County."
"Currently, Burroughs is the principal of Riverside Intermediate School in Plymouth," writes Carol Anders. "Burroughs received bachelors degrees in both music education and psychology from DePauw University in 1976. She went on to secure a master’s degree in 1982 in elementary and secondary school counseling and student services from Indiana University and master’s degree in elementary and secondary school administration, also from Indiana University, in 1984. In 2010, Burroughs earned a Specialist in Education degree from Ball State University. She has been a part of the Plymouth Community School Corporation since 1994, serving as principal in Jefferson Elementary and Webster Elementary."
