DePauw Faculty Chamber Music Recital Sunday

February 8, 2001, Greencastle, Ind. - Members of the faculty of the School of Music at DePauw University will present a concert on Sunday, February 11, at 6 p.m. in Thompson Recital Hall of the Performing Arts Center.

Prospective music majors will be on campus this weekend to audition, interview and take music theory placement tests, and this concert is scheduled as an opportunity for them to hear some of the music faculty in performance. Performers include pianists Claudia Bossard and Claude Cymerman, cellist Eric Edberg, bass-baritone Stanley Irwin, violinist Dan Rizner, and soprano Caroline Bradley Smith. Music of Mendelssohn, Liszt, Ricky Gordon, Boccherini, and Cole Porter will be performed.
