DePauw Band Now a Click Away

April 5, 2001, Greencastle, Ind. - Whether at work, at home or on the road from a laptop, you can now get a musical taste of DePauw with a simple click of the mouse. Two of the songs that the DePauw University Band recorded on its second compact disc, Timepieces, are now available to download from the University Band's web site at https://www.depauw.edu/music/band.
The online selections are:
- "A Toast to DePauw" featuring Stanley Irwin, bass-baritone and director of University Choirs
- "Here's to DePauw"
Links to acquire free downloadable versions of RealPlayer and Quicktime are also included on the web site. Visitors can also find information on acquiring compact disc copies of Timepieces and the band's other two CDs, Airs & Dances and Shadows of Eternity. Craig Paré, director of University bands, is now in the process of planning a fourth recording.
