'Islamic Law and Terrorism' Subject of Tuesday Evening Speech

January 7, 2002, Greencastle, Ind. - R. Kevin Jaques, assistant professor of religious studies at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, will speak on “Islamic Law and Terrorism," Tuesday night, January 8, 2002 at 7:30 p.m. in Watson Forum of the Pulliam Center for Contemporary Media on the DePauw University campus. Dr. Jaques specializes in Islamic legal history, Islam in southeast Asia and Indian Ocean communities, Islam in the United States, and religious authority in times of social and cultural upheaval.

All members of the campus and Greencastle communities are invited to attend the presentation, which is free of charge and will carry credit for winter term students.
