Indianapolis Star Reviews Monon Bell DVD; Disc Now on Sale at Borders
February 8, 2002
February 8, 2002, Greencastle, Ind. - "How thrilling was the 108th Monon Bell football game between Wabash College and DePauw University last fall? Enough to put on DVD," writes Steve Slosarek in today's Indianapolis Star. His review of the disc, entitled "Monon Bell game goes digital," states, "the DVD is the brainchild of DePauw director of media relations Ken Owen, sports information director Bill Wagner and web communications specialist Scott Cooper. Through Sony Digital Disc Manufacturing, they have designed a dual-sided disc (one for each half), complete with a menu that enables viewers to jump to a particular play. The game is small-college football at its best. There is only one manufacturing run on the limited discs, which sell for $15."

As of today, the Monon Bell DVD is available at the Borders Books and Music store at Keystone at the Crossing on the northside of Indianapolis. You'll find it in the DVD section and with books of local interest.
The disc is also available at the Fine Print Bookstore in Greencastle, at the bookstores of both DePauw and Wabash, and online by clicking here. You can learn more about the making of the DVD by clicking here.
