Three Free Concerts on Next Week's Schedule

April 13, 2002, Greencastle, Ind. - The DePauw School of Music presents three concerts during the week of April 15, starting with the DePauw Percussion Ensemble, directed by D. Stephen Hanna, on Monday, April 15, at 7:30 p.m. in Kresge Auditorium. Performing will be Charles Daniel Baker, Leighann Daihl, Jason Frey, Aleksas Gylys, Tyler Munn, Jason Slone, Julia Johnston, Aimee Marschand, Kim McMillen, and Rachel Taylor. Works include a composition by student Tyler Munn, and an arrangement by student Jason Slone.

Friday evening at 7:30 in Thompson Recital Hall, senior Colleen Paul, soprano, will present a student recital of music that includes Italian arias, German lieder, French art songs, and music from Broadway.

On Sunday at 3 p.m., the DePauw University Band, under the direction of Craig Paré, will perform the music of Ralph Vaughan Williams, Vincent Persichetti, and Ron Nelson.

All of these events are free and open to the public.
