October 10, 2002

October 10, 2002, Greencastle, Ind. - "With high college stress levels, intellectual and personal growth don't come easy," writes the College Bound Network's Rebecca Vara in an article on on the adjustments parents must make after they send a child off to college. In the story, entitled "The 'I Miss My Freshman' Gameplan," she notes, "DePauw University's Vice President of Admissions and Financial Aid Madeleine Eagon offers some basic advice: 'Those little cards that let them know you think they're great and are always a winner in your book mean a lot.' Eagon suggests sending cookies, brownies, or a fun stress reliever like bubbles, too."
