DePauw Percussion Ensemble Performs Free Concert Monday Night

October 11, 2002, Greencastle, Ind. - The DePauw University Percussion Ensemble, under the direction of D. Stephen Hanna, will present its fall concert Monday, October 14, at 7:30 p.m. in Kresge Auditorium of DePauw's Performing Arts Center. Students in the group this semester are Charles Daniel Baker, Jennifer Chastain, Aleksas Gylys, Tyler Munn, Patrick Queeney, and Jason Slone.

The program will include music of Stanley Leonard, Scott Joplin, Michael Cunningham, Osvaldo Lacerda, and Hanna, as well as Marcha-Samba, a traditional street dance often performed at Carnival in Brazil.

The concert is free and open to the public.
