DePauw Opera Theatre to Present World Premiere Thursday Night

November 18, 2002, Greencastle, Ind. - The DePauw Opera Theatre presents "An Evening of Opera Scenes" on Thursday, November 21, at 7:30 in Thompson Recital Hall of the Performing Arts Center. Directed by Leo Goeke, students will be presenting a world premiere of From Little to Less, written by Lionel Lackey specifically for the DePauw Opera Theatre.

Also included in the concert will be scenes from Nicolai's The Merry Wives of Windsor, Seymour Barab's Game of Chance, La Cenerentola by Rossini, Dido and Aeneas by Purcell, and Verdi's Falstaff. Musical coach for the production is Amanda Hopson, with Amy Baumgartner as stage manager.

The concert is free and open to the public.
