Brian Perry '93 Named 'Coach of the Year'

April 16, 2003, Greencastle, Ind. - Brian S. Perry, swimming coach and mathematics teacher at University School in Hunting Valley, Ohio and a 1993 graduate of DePauw University, has been named a coach of the year by the Plain Dealer of Cleveland. An brief biography in yesterday's paper notes that Perry is a "University School graduate and [was an] All-American swimmer at DePauw University, 1989-1993," that he has a law degree from Indiana University, and that "in three years as head coach, US's dual team has lost one meet (to Cincinnati St. Xavier in January)."

University School is an independent boys' school (grades K-12) in the eastern suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio. Founded in 1890, the school is chartered as a college preparatory school in Ohio. University School is accredited by the National Association of Independent Schools and the Independent Schools Association of the Central States.
