Enjoy Band's Spring Concert, Featuring Student Conductors, Wednesday Night

May 6, 2003, Greencastle, Ind. - The DePauw University Band, conducted by Carl Kling, will present its spring concert on Wednesday, May 7, at 7:30 p.m. in Kresge Auditorium. Featured on the program will be two student conductors, Amanda Grahn and Jason Slone. Grahn will be conducting A Festival Prelude by Alfred Reed, and Slone will conduct Festivo by Vaclav Nelhybel. Also on the program will be Richard Strauss' Konigsmarsch, Yorkshire Ballad by James Barnes, Third Suite by Robert Jager, and John Philip Sousa's Hands Across the Sea.
