January 14, 2004, Greencastle, Ind. - "Barnes & Noble Booksellers has put out a Reader's Companion series, subtitled 'Today's take on Tomorrow's Classics,'" notes a story in Florida's Naples Daily News, which points out that one of the titles in the series is The Poisonwood Bible by 1977 DePauw University graduate Barbara Kingsolver.

Of the Companion series, Nancy Stetson writes, "The slim books provide commentary, author biographies and an overview of what the critics have said."
