Two Professors Contribute to New Encyclopedia of Sex and Gender

February 18, 2004, Greencastle, Ind. - Eric K. Silverman, associate professor of sociology and anthropology at DePauw University, and his colleague, assistant professor of sociology and anthropology Rebecca L. Upton, each contributed essays to the new book, Encyclopedia of Sex and Gender: Men and Women in the World's Cultures. Dr. Silverman's essay examines the Iatmul people of Papua New Guinea, while Dr. Upton writes of the Tswana people of Botswana.
