ABC Televises Monon Bell Blowout as Wabash Prevails

November 12, 1977, Greencastle, Ind. - ABC Sports was on hand to broadcast the 1977 Monon Bell, but this game certainly was not a classic. DePauw came into the annual rivalry with a 1-and-8 record, and the final game of the season wasn't any prettier than its predecessors. Wabash College prevailed 30-6 in a game that even the dulcet tones of announcer Jim Lampley, who provided play-by-play, could not save. With today's victory, Wabash improves to 9-1 on the season.
