Hollywood Casting Agent Matt Lessall '93 Asks, "So You Wanna Be in Movies?," November 3

October 28, 2004, Greencastle, Ind. - Matt Lessall, a Hollywood casting agent and 1993 DePauw University graduate, will return to campus on Wednesday, November 3, to ask an audience, “So, You Wanna Be in Movies?” Lessall's presentation, presented by DePauw's film studies program and ArtsFest, will begin at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of the Richard E. Peeler Art Center. The lecture is free and open to the public.
Matt Lessall’s credits include Mean Creek, Frankenstein, and King Solomon’s Mines. He's currently casting a remake of the 1960's television drama Dark Shadows.A story earlier this year on Backstage.com noted, "The London-born, New York-raised Lessall began his career as an actor, studying at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and working for four or five years in Europe," and, after developing an interest in casting, he worked on commercials, music videos, and short and low budget films.Back
