Junior Named All-American in Women's Soccer

January 11, 2000, Greencastle, Ind. - Junior midfielder Beth Walse earned DePauw's first all-America selection in women's soccer when she was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America first team. Walse led the eighth-ranked Tigers with 16 goals and 41 points and was second with nine assists.

Current DePauw men's assistant coach Brian Jaworski, a 1989 graduate of the University, is the only other Tiger soccer player to earn all-America honors.
