Chronicle: DePauw #6 in Nation in Students Studying Abroad

December 10, 1999, Greencastle, Ind. - Among bachelor's degree-granting institutions, DePauw University ranks sixth nationally in terms of having the largest number of students studying abroad, according to the Chronicle of Higher Education in its December 10, 1999, edition. The top 10 bachelor's institutions were: St. Olaf College, Middlebury College, College of St. Benedict/St. John, Colgate University, Carleton College, Concordia College and DePauw University (tie), Colby College, Bucknell University and Colorado College.
During the spring semester, 153 DePauw students are participating in Off-Campus Study programs. The countries in which they are studying include: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ecuador, England, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Northern Ireland, Scotland, South Africa, Spain, United States and Wales.Back
