A trio of DePauw field hockey players have earned spots on the National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-Great Lakes Region team including two on the first team.

Senior back Laurel Danner (McLean, Va.) and freshman midfielder Becca Gaines (Columbus, Ohio) were chosen to the region's first team with sophomore defender Emily Wiscomb (Deerfield, Ill.) earning a spot on the second team.

Danner recorded three defensive saves and assisted on two goals this year, while Gaines led the team with nine goals, six assists and 24 points in her rookie season. Wiscomb led the squad with eight defensive saves and added one goal and one assist.

The Tigers finished the season at 11-7 and, at one point in the season, were ranked first in the Great Lakes Region. Three of DePauw's losses were by just one goal with two ending in overtime.
